Zombie Movie Review: Mutants

Originally published on January 22, 2011 by our good pals across the pond, "Devouring the Zombie Films of the Living"-- formally "Trioxin," comes a finely reviewed flick in all departments except the 'Norks' department.  For those of you who don't know what 'Norks' are-- look it up.  You'll likely be pleasantly surprised.

"Dead Meat" -- the Review!

Our good pals across what would be a really long swim to the UK (Devouring the Zombie-films of the Living) --recommended "Dead Meat" -- an Irish Zombie bloodfest.







I have to say I wasn't won over in the first half-- but it really ramps up in the second half!

The Dead Next Door - 1989 - UNCUT -- A Review!

It's 5:30 in the morning, the wife has already gotten up once and told me to be quiet-- but I'm about to watch"The Dead Next Door"-- a recommendation from our pal across the big body of water called the Atlantic ocean-- Jon--  running his awesome site "Devouring the Zombie Films of the Living".  It's in his Top 3 "Gore" flicks-- I've seen the other two (Braindead, and Land of the Dead)-- but never came across "The Dead Next Door."

I will report my findings after the viewing -- or after I get smacked by the wife.

Exclusive Interview with "Chainsaw Maid" creator and his reaction to Fan-created "Chainsaw Maid 2"

Takena Nagao created the splendid stop-motion gore-fest "Chainsaw Maid." We loved it, and apparently 3 million others did as well (according to the hit count on Youtube).

Recently, we came across a Fan-made sequel (Chainsaw Maid 2) created by Lee Hardcastle. "Chainsaw Maid 2" is a wonderful splatter fest and a great homage to the original.

We spoke with Takena, and got his reaction after watching, what must have been a true labor of love, "Chainsaw Maid 2".
